What to expect?

Nagar Castle: The Naggar Castle is one of the most iconic attractions in Naggar. Built in the 15th century, it was once the residence of the local Raja (king). The castle’s traditional Himalayan-style architecture with wooden beams, sloping roofs, and stone walls makes it a remarkable sight.

Roerich Art Gallery: The Roerich Art Gallery is a museum dedicated to the Russian painter and philosopher, Nicholas Roerich, who spent a significant amount of his life in Naggar. His works, especially those inspired by the Himalayan landscapes, are on display in the gallery.

Jagatipatti Temple: The Jagatipatt Temple is another historical and spiritual site in Naggar. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is an important pilgrimage destination for locals.

Naggar's Apple Orchard: The town of Naggar is famous for its apple orchards, and it’s a wonderful place to stroll through during apple season (usually between September and October).

Fishing in Beas River: The Beas River, which flows through the Kullu Valley, is perfect for fishing. Naggar, located near the river, offers opportunities for anglers to try their luck.
